Product Description
Introducing QuickVu Wireless Backup Camera System for any vehicle. The camera is powered by two long lasting 'AA' batteries which makes it truly wireless and avoids the necessity of connecting into the car's electrical system. Our unique low power design enables a camera battery life of several months or up to 1 year under optimal conditions and usage. Batteries can then be changed for continued use. The camera remains normally off to preserve power. Operation is simple:
Push 'A' button on monitor control box to view image from the camera.
The camera turns off automatically after 30 seconds.
To optimize the camera's performance, you can select any one of three transmission channels. This can help reduce or avoid interference from other sources transmitting at 2.4GHz.
If 30 seconds is too short, you can program a longer 'on' duration of 45 or 60 seconds. Or, if you prefer to extend battery life and don't need as much 'on' time, you can program a 15 second 'on' duration.
Attach camera to rear license plate with existing screws. 2. Secure monitor and control box on dash with hook-and-loop tape. 3. Plug monitor cables into control box and power cable into cigarette lighter socket 4. Adjust control box position and/or channel for optimal reception DONE!

I searched a lot for a rear view camera that did not have or require any wires being connected to the back of my car. This is the only product I have found that really was like that. I had a few problems with it before returning it. First, the connection really was not the best. I had constant static on the screen. My guess is it was from the areas I could have been in, or interference. Second, depending on the type of car you have, power may be on to the 12 volt lighter jack when the car is on. On my car (2012 Ford Escape), I have power whether the car is on or not. This could also mean battery drainage. Thankfully, I did not have that problem. I would have to push the "A" button to turn on camera, and then it would automatically turn off. It would randomly turn on sometimes, which I do not know why. I do not like mounting things onto my dash and it did not have a windshield mount, which gave me very limited room to play with. The remote only worked on certain functions. I really did not understand the point of that. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but it was getting annoying and would have been a head ache. It was not for me, but maybe for you, it will be success.
