5Happier every day I use it!
By Steven R.
Where to start. Well it's an amazing unit. First of all, the interface is quite easy to use and very smooth to control. It's simple and understandable. The visualization is very nice. If you've read any of the actual product details, then you know that it has bluetooth, HD radio, pandora, mirror link, dual USB inputs, and DVD playback. Bluetooth phone calls work well, music streaming also, I don't use the HD radio tuner so I'm not sure how that is. That depends more on where you live if you have HD radio broadcasts or not. I don't use pandora either. I've heard bad things about mirror link that it only works with a handful of phones, but the good news about that is that the unit is firmware upgradable, so hopefully Sony will fix that soon. I don't use that either, so it will not hurt me any. The dual USB inputs are great to have, considering that I need one for my TomTom navigation module, which I keep connected at all times. The other port is used for my iPod Classic, it stays connected at all times as well. So I'm VERY glad that BOTH ports are on the back of the unit. I can't stand wires hanging everywhere. So if you are the same way, this would be the unit to get compared to the XAV-601BT. As far as the DVD playback goes, I haven't really messed with that very much. Seeing as how if I want to watch a movie, I'm gonna sit nice and comfy in a recliner in my house and watch it on my big screen TV. However, I did put a DVD in just to make sure it worked, and from what I could tell, it seemed to be an easy and smooth experience. It would be good for those of you who have kids and drive a van, SUV, or something to that nature. Then you can take advantage of the Zone by Zone feature, which enables you to play DVDs in the back seat while doing something else in the front. You would of course need to get an optional monitor for the back seat to do so. Also it has a dedicated rear view camera input for an optional camera if you wanted it. I got one and love it. Anyways, I hope this review can help you if you're looking to buy this unit. If there is anything I failed to mention or would like to know about, just comment on my review and ask. Enjoy your new stereo.

1Don't Buy it
By H4CK3R
Purchased this to replace my 2008 Kenwood deck. Turns out I should of kept my Kenwood.First thing is you can't use the navigation on the unit and listen to music at the same time. Either from the Tom Tom or from Mirror link.Mirror link crashes all the time.Only 2 USB ports, and one is used up by the Tom Tom navigation, so your left to choose between an Ipod, USB or your phone. The display screen savers don't react to the music playing.Save your money, buy anything but this.
