Replaced the original JBL head-unit in a 2003 Toyota Sequoia with this unit. Used the Metra 70-8113 Radio Wiring Harness and the Metra 95-8202 Toyota DDIN Multi Dash Kit, both available on Amazon for about $10 each. The unit fits perfectly into the opening. No issues with combining this unit with the stock amp. Squeezed a Navibox 2 in the opening below the head-unit.Sound is good. Bluetooth connection works well with Samsung Galaxy 3. Phone and streaming Pandora from the Galaxy to the unit is just perfect, bluetooth automatically reconnects. However, the external mic does not work well. It is OK when the car is parked, but during driving the sound quality for the other side of the conversation is bad.DVD works just fine but not planning to give this feature much use. Connecting the unit's brown brake wire to the black ground wire will enable the DVD to play at all times, irrespective if the car is in motion or parked. Just did not want to mess around with trying to locate the parking brake wire. If you do not connect the unit's parking brake wire to either ground or the parking brake, the DVD will play but will be obstructed with a warning sign.GPS from Navibox-2 is so-so. Would like to have more settings available (e.g. when to warn about upcoming turns) but it is nice to have everything integrated into one unit and no more cables going from the windshield to the 12V outlet.
