Yes this is more expensive than most overhead DVD players with similar features... But if you're willing to pay more for quality, then this is worth considering. Screen quality is top notch: very bright and clear. Construction quality is also great. Great viewing angles from all seats in our van. Although any product can break, this one is built to last.Cons: no FM transmitter. Not an issue for us since we wanted to hard wire RCA cables into our Odyssey stereo. Cheaper ones we've had we're poor quality transmitters anyway.Highly recommend this product! (and the VT810b, which we've also owned)

This works well, but is overpriced for what it is. Another downside is that there is no FM-Transmitter built in. The headphones are sufficient for now, and it's nice that two were included. Still, I'd like to have an FM-Transmitter if I needed one, particularly for this price.
