We have had major problems with this player syncing with the sound system in our Toyota Sienna. The player is supposed to be able to play the sound over a radio frequency. It does, but the volume is so low you cannot hear it even if you turn your system to max volume. The volume would play fine through headphones, but not on our in-car sound system. We know it isn't our sound system because our previous player worked just fine using the same technology. We returned the original and ordered a new because the customer service rep told us it was a factory defect, only to get the new one and find out from a different customer service rep that the manufacturer setting is preset at 50% volume on the DVD player menu and cannot be changed. The picture quality is nice and the player itself worked fine. Sound was a big problem though.
