Does your car come with 4 tires or 3? On the surface, this is a dumb question because the answer is intuitive. OF COURSE it comes with 4 tires. So when I bought two pairs of these DVD headrests, I applied the same logic. OF COURSE both units have speakers in them. I was wrong - they do not. Only the master unit has speakers. I wouldn't have bought these if I had known that. They're already installed, and I paid to have them put in, so they're not going back. The picture is good, and they've survived being out in the car in sub-freezing temperatures. So far so good.If you want a pair of DVD players with speakers in both monitors, look elsewhere.

I bought this set and was shocked at the poor quality. The screens have horrible pictures, it does not play about every other disc we put in (not because of region or anything like that). The audio is at a whisper at full volumn both on the built in speakers and the headphones, the second screen does not even have speaker or headphone jack, even though it looks like it does. I am shopping for a different brand one week later and these will be in the trash before I have had them two weeks. Oh, and the stupid remotes don't work, there is a poorly setup menue with very little that it can actually do, and sometimes the closed captioning comes on and cant be turned off. I am sure there is more, I just can't think of it right now.
